Meals and Lodging
Taltson Bay Big Pike Lodge prides itself in being a true wilderness excursion. You'll find no white gloves being worn here, but you will find hearty home cooked meals in abundance. Our menu is constantly changing and evolving. You may have steaks one night, a turkey dinner the next, and wake up to a pile of pancakes and bacon with all the sides you can handle. Shore lunch can be arranged in the wilderness or enjoyed in the main lodge without missing any valuable fishing time. Coffee, tea, lemonade and/or punch is provided in the lodge. Soft drinks and beer can be arranged for your group for an additional fee. We welcome you to bring any hard liquor purchased in Yellowknife.
The camp is comfortable and rustic. Your lodging comes with fresh bedding, storage for clothing and gear, electricity, and cut firewood ready for the potbelly stove in your cabin. We take pride that our guests don't spend a lot of time in our comfortable cabins other than to crash at the end of the best fishing days of their lives.
The main lodge is where you can relax in the evening with your fellow anglers. Enjoy a beverage, a late night dessert, and swap stories of that day's battles.
Special requests can be arranged for meals if needed.
We take you off the grid, but there is a payable satellite phone available in camp to check in back home during your stay in the NWT wilderness.
